Fur Policy

Here at Chi-Chi-Chic we love animals. We're totally against the use of fur in clothing and accessories produced today.

On the other hand, we're not fans of waste either. We're doing our best to ensure that vintage treasures are not only preserved, like exhibits in a museum, but still worn, admired and enjoyed.

With this in mind, and after a long hard think, we decided to limit our stock of fur items. It is our humble opinion that once these products have been made, and survived the test of time, that it is only fair to give other people the chance to enjoy them.

We don't want to encourage the production of fur goods today. There is no need now, when such fantastic fake-fur is so widely available. We won't stock fur products produced after 1980; only those produced before 1980, which have been handed down though several generations of clothes lovers and are of historical interest.

We understand that not all our customers will share our opinion. So all our products containing leather and fur are clearly marked so that you, the customer can make an informed choice.
